a) When did you appear for the IELTS test?
Ans. I took up the IELTS exam in August 2016.
b) How did the IELTS exam exactly benefit your career?
Ans. IELTS helped me to improve my English language skills like conversing with fellow colleagues with good communication skills, understanding complex sentences in news articles and also easily understanding English debates, speeches and so on.
c) What was your primary reason of taking the IELTS test and was your purpose really solicited by the end of the exam?
Ans. My primary reason to take up the IELTS test was to have a better career abroad and the IELTS exam is also considered as a measurement of language skills for an individual. I have to prepare better to get the result I need.
d) Which was your most liked and disliked section in the IELTS test?
Ans. Listening was the most liked module for me and Writing was comparatively least liked in IELTS for me.
e) How had you prepared for the weakest section of your IELTS exam?
Ans. I prepared exam by reading news articles and practicing writing as much as I could. I also tried conversing in English to become confident in English communication.
f) Do you think a mentor/expert is mandate during IELTS preparation? Who was your IELTS mentor/expert during your preparatory stage?
Ans. Mentor is definitely necessary for the IELTS exam so that we can be trained and get corrected where ever we should improve.
g) What will be your one tip for aspiring IELTS candidates?
Ans. My one tip will be “practice”. Practice definitely gets us good results and improved English vocabulary.
h) How do you think the experience of IELTS exam really impacts an individual’s career?
Ans. This is a kind of experience which cannot go wasted. After the preparation one can see change in him/her instantly like communicating with better linguistic skills with people around them. It even helps to write well in the blogs.
