I cannot forget how I had to struggle to come down to the shallow level of the Telugu medium grade 9 students in Karimnagar where I needed to translate even the titles of the lessons into their vernaculars. Equally unforgettable was my Joy when I came to know that my student at Nalanda Junior College Hyderabad secured in 1994-95 96% in English which was the state first rank in the subject.
