As I said earlier grammar is not at all required for the beginners. Practice of collocations will automatically help you speak correct ideas. To speak of vocabulary it's of two types: receptive and productive. The words you listen belong to receptive and the ones you speak belong to productive. So to enhance your vocabulary just read and listen more and more. It won't be much helpful with the newspaper because the vocabulary there is mostly bombastic and in colloquial sense we very rarely use them. English subtitles of films will do great for you. Know it for sure that your receptive ones will automatically and gradually be converted into you productive vocabulary. Good luck. read less
