Yogasanas are best done empty stomach. Feeling hungry is a trigger in mind, you may feel hungry even after an hour of meal. You can do pranayam for just 5 mins, and see if you can manage to continue or not. With practice the body will learn to curb unnecessary hunger and become more strong. But one should not starve or do any physical activity in lack of energy or weakness

Expensive or affordable depends on person to person
One not just pays for the yoga itself but for the ambience , expertise and overall experience
There are free classes available as well but people dont feel committed to anything free. Also, its a full time job for many, inflation affects everyone.
Instead of paying huge amount in surgeries and medical expenses, spend on yoga.
