Why is the guitar so important in a band?

Guitar is a only instrument on which melody and rhythm both we can play. And using chords section we can play most of background music of each track. And guitar have sustainable volume and tone so it helps to sustain.

Good question. Just imagine drinking tea without sugar.( what will be the taste like) Music or a band without guitar/bass guitar.. Just drum and piano or other instruments will the same as above statement.. Guitar itself is giving the band more unique sound and also make a complete musical band....

Guitar has a big role in musicmusic. It exaggerate the bands and provide more extra sounds.. Playing solos adds more uniqueness of music and also highlighted the bands skills and ability. read less

Unique Sounds The lead guitarist is tasked with giving the band more of a unique sound. They exaggerate the lines that the rest of the band plays and provide that extra sound. This also comes in the form of playing solos, highlighting their abilities and skills.

It has a unique sound that is widely recognised and loved and has come to be expected in different styles of music. With the different types of guitars and effects, you can add more interest and variety to the music.
