It is a psychological game more than anything.

If you can be disciplined and practice without giving in to frustration then you will generally see improvements. Of course there are factors that can affect progress like physical disability, other responsibilities thus not getting enough time to practice, mental health conditions or mental blocks etc.

For someone who is passionate and naturally practices on a regular basis and also gets rewarded with results, the process may not be as much of a struggle or pain as for someone with the circumstances described above.

We live in a digital age and there is also social media which gives us ample opportunity to compare ourselves with others and feel bad afterwards.

So yeah easy or not does depend on circumstances  but at the same time I won't deny that there is an extent of control you have to make things less of a struggle and pain.

Unfortunately, the sad answer to this question and the truth is that there is no “fastest” way to learn guitar.

Learning guitar is a slow process. It takes patience and perseverance to master it. When you start, you will be dead tired and frustrated of the muted sound that would be coming out from your guitar. You fingers will pain and you will feel like throwing the guitar away. There will be moments when you will feel that why did you even buy that guitar in the first place.

But all this is natural and you are no exception. If you want to learn guitar, you have to put in the time and effort. You have to persevere again and again through the painful and not so enjoyable experience. I have seen people buying a new guitar out of some random epiphany and then some days later the same guitar eats dust in a corner of their room. Sure there is no harm in stopping to learn if you feel that it’s not your thing. But to simply stop because you are frustrated with the little or no results that you got by learning for a few days is a bit ridiculous.

In my opinion, learning guitar is a true test of grit and if you really want to learn playing you should have the patience. Ultimately, you will get the hard-earned results! You will feel proud of the sound the comes out of your guitar when you play! You will amaze yourself!

I hope this helps and clears any doubts regarding how fast you can learn guitar.

Why is it called a riff in a guitar?
Many suggest that the word “riff" is an abbreviation of the word “refrain” which in the musical context is a repeated line or musical phrase that ties a song together. As guitar riffs are repetetive, they are termed as riffs.
