Acoustic or classical) in mind and accordingly the strings produced the tone. You can try switching them by keeping these facts in mind that the string gauge variates fo it may end up creating some buzz while playing guitar. In general the string gugae ( thickness) used for Acoustic is heavier than the electric. If you put heavier gauge strings on electric it may end up some damage on your electric guitar fretboard.
