A lot of people have a way of dividing 1 hour of practice into smaller 10-15 mins sessions where you can focus on different topics. Eg.Finger ex, Music Theory, Technique etc. This may or may not work for you. You've to try it. IMO, you'd want to practice and take information in small chunks. Have short and focused goals so that at the end of each practice session you will have mastered a very small aspect of the long-term goal. Have fun while practicing and be sure to make music while you practice. read less
