Playing the guitar as a left-handed person can be challenging, but it's not impossible. The difficulty depends on a few factors: Challenges: Limited Left-Handed Guitars – Most guitars are designed for right-handed players, so left-handed models are less common and often more expensive. Learning Materials – Most tutorials, chord charts, and instructional books are made for right-handed players, making it harder to follow along. Instrument Availability – If you're borrowing or buying second-hand, right-handed guitars are far more available. Adaptation Choices – Left-handed players must decide whether to: Play a left-handed guitar (harder to find but natural to play) Flip a right-handed guitar upside-down (like Jimi Hendrix did) Learn to play right-handed (tough but possible) Advantages of Being a Lefty Guitarist: Unique Playing Style – Some legendary guitarists (like Paul McCartney and Kurt Cobain) turned their left-handedness into a signature style. Stronger Fretting Hand – Since left-handed players have their dominant hand on the fretboard when playing right-handed, some find they develop better finger strength and dexterity. Final Thoughts: It’s a bit more difficult for lefties, but totally doable with patience. Some left-handed players even find ways to turn their uniqueness into an advantage! read less

It doesn't matter from which handed you are it will take the same amount of time as your left hand is dominant for you and others might be right hand but it will take the same amount of time
