Can I start electric guitar before acoustic? I'm a beginner.

hello dont think both style of playing is same . in electric guitar there are more artliculated and sound controlling work compared to acouustic guitars .so , choose through sounding not by shape

Whichever excites you the most neither is correct or incorrect and the best choice is the guitar that most motivates you to practice, learn and play. Deciding whether to choose an electric guitar or acoustic guitar as a first instrument really comes down to answering.
