Hi Dixit, There are so many teachers offering online courses for Guitar. Only thing is that you have to check yours as well as the instructors convenient time to take the class. I do take online class but only between 2pm and 4pm on week days. There are also instructional DVD's available on any instruments on this planet! Then you can learn at your own pace. No need for a net connect also. Having said that, if you are an absolute beginner, my advise would be, go to a teacher for few months and get the basics correct, including reading music notation, playing with dynamics etc. Then learn online. Guitar is a string instrument. That study is some difficult...i.e. first tune string 2nd play. First cime notes in mind,that not best way in online classes. You study 2 year a guitar master, latter study online.....i.e. 2 year notes fill in your mind. Contact a best guitarist Syamprasad.

If you have a guitar ,learn the basics of music. here are some key words to learn about - note, tone, semi tone, chords and triads, major and minor chords, relative minors , scales. Once you understand these it will guide you through the learning process. There are many online guitar trainers but my suggestion is you learn by the book or more conventionally ebook. You can move onto learning the guitar string names like, E A D G b e six strings. Some more key words to learn guitar are fret, octave (low to high), harmony, resonation, sharp note , techniques , damping , strum , picking. etc. If you learn the basics of music like I mentioned before you will understand how to use the SIX strings. read less

And if you are a beginner then find out a nice tutor in your locality and learn from him for some time ( at least 6 to 10 months) and after that you can easily learn any thing from online. read less
