it usually used t raise the pitch...
Musicians commonly use a capo to raise the pitch of a fretted instrument so they can play in a different key using the same fingerings as playing open. In effect, a capo uses a fret of an instrument to create a new nut at a higher note than the instrument's actual nut.

capo is an accessory of guitar. it raises the pitch, which changes the scale of whatever u r playing.

Show previous answers

Gourav Sagre replied | 28 Jul

yes you can with right hand but you have to cut u r left hands nail because it may be go stuck in fretboard while u r playing it. with the help of right hands nail u r able to play like picking, plucking, stru etc no need to cut.

0 0

Princy replied | 23 Sep

with long nails its difficult to get right sound while plucking notes or chords on fretboard and sometimes your guitar fretboard can b damaged coz of big nails as fretboard is of wood and nails are sharp enough to give it a damage.
Better to cut them.

Your q not v clear. If you are playing the classical pieces and now interested to play electric solos as well, you will only have to practise them using plectrum on electric guitar.

What is the use of amplifier in Guitars?

0 0 3

Show previous answers

Adil replied | 18 Jul

amplifiers are generally used with electric guitars to amplify the sound, as you cannot hear what you are playing. You can connect the amplifier to you acoustic too if your guitar allows it to but it's not highly recommended, but for electric guitars, amplifiers are must :)

0 0

Harish replied | 18 Jul

Hi Sanjay ,

If you have an acoustic guitar and if you are using it only at home then typically you wouldn't need an amp however if you have a semi acoustic guitar then you could plug in the guitar to an amp to get the output on amp. If you are playing on stage or with a band then you would need an amp. Also If you own an electric guitar then you would need an amp for sure.
