It totally depends on you.
Many students don't study even when they go to regular school.
It's all about willing to learn and study. Certainly, online classes help you study the same concepts that you learn in school, and that too at the ease of your comfort at home only.
Now it's upto you how best you can make use of this time and online studies.

The presentation works well in 99% cases, however, subjects like Maths requires solving problems and to make a student understand the concepts, whiteboard and/or MS Word/Paintbrush etc. should be used and it works absolutely fine in online classes.
I myself provide online maths classes and I have never used online whiteboard application.
