Ok, what was posted before is not so correct, so I as a teacher of German language and history want to give a more substantial answer.
The German language has its roots from the germanic tribes. They were coming probably from the caucasus region. (This is the reason for the word "caucasian"). They conquered europe from the east, beating the Celts. In the end they conquered complete europe. There were several tribes with similar but not the same languages. E.g. the Saxonians or the Franks. France took its name from the Franks (and they were named by their weapon "Franziska"). The development of the languages of the specific european countries was influenced by different historical circumstances. E.g. Italy, Spain, Romania was mostly influenced by the roman language. Because the german territory was only occupied a little by the romans it keeps mostly germanic. It was Martin Luther in the 16th century who created what we call Hochdeutsch ("high German") today. So the German language of today has its root in different germanic languages/dialects, constructed by Luther, influenced mostly by the roman, also by the the greek language and with later `imports` from neighbouring countries like France.

Learning to speak any language fluently means you have to practice, practice and practice some more. You have to put yourselves in situations where you can practice more frequently. And it also depends on how much time you are willing to spare to learn the language each day.

Nothing is difficult master. But foreign language per say requires a lot of practice to help retain the meanings and words, which one tends not to use outside the class room.

Any language needs practice. And once you practice, nothing is difficult. To learn online, one -to-one from expert tutors, at a time that suits you and based on a curriculum that is designed to meet your specific requirements.

Hi Sandip Goethe Institute at CMH Rd is where you take the Certification exam for a specific fees. You could learn from personal tutors who have a good track record on language and certification training. You can hire a personal tutor who will complete your course in two months of weekend classes and go for the certification exam at Goethe.

To teach kids of that age group, I initially use a "German Picture Dictionary" and subsequently, the regular textbook prescribed by the school.

To go there is very expansive but as people need the certificate, they take the courses. I had several students, who could not keep up with Goethe institute classes as they could not understand a word as all is in German only, so they came to me for teachings. I am charging 150 Rs only for 60 min, and I am a German native. About registration on this site - I did it, but it seems a big waste of money as no one ever contacted me nor replied to my at least 10 messages I sent so far. Still I think one should pay this 500 Rs as one can be contacted and contact anyone. «less

Hi Manish - the latest text book that A1 beginners are using is Netzwerk. Personally I don't find it any different from a Tangram. But at the same time it is quite updated with Social Networking examples etc.
The syllabus is pretty straightforward as per the Goethe Institut guidelines.

In addition you should frequently have various games enhancing the vocabulary of the students.
Games involving interaction increases student participation along with the knowledge.
