The eligibility criteria for the GATE exam are as follows: 1. Academic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree: Candidates should have completed or be in the final year of their Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (4-year program) or an equivalent program. Postgraduate Degree: Candidates with a Master's degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications can also apply. 2. Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in GATE. 3. Eligibility for Specific Categories: B.Tech/BE students from any discipline are eligible to appear. Candidates with diplomas in engineering (if applicable) are also allowed, provided they meet the necessary academic requirements. Candidates in the final year of their Bachelor's or Master's degree are eligible to appear. 4. International Candidates: Foreign students from countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, Nepal, Singapore, and others are also eligible to apply for GATE, subject to specific requirements based on their country. read less
