It's because you actually have to know how to dance in a coordinated fashion, understand music and timing, musicality, etc. you have to pay attention and the challenge is fun for some. We worked hard to do something that isn't just crazy arms. It can be simple.

Salsa consists of a lot of different instruments together, so it is hard to know what to listen for. Also, learning the steps , injuries during practice.
