Hi Navoneela, First of all congratulations for choosing such immaculate dance forms, you're gonna have fun. These are not just dances, they're lifestyle's. If anyone says I know how to Kathak, it's a flawed assumption. Kathak or Bharatnatyam are like religion's, people including the GurusG spend lives to learn and always remain a student. Hence there isn't any age, gender, time or season to start living a new lifestyle. Also if you like it, then you might supersede your Contemporaries very soon. Best of luck and welcome to the family! read less

OfcoOf co you can learn dance. There is no age limit to start any form of dance. I have students who have started in their fifties and they are doing just fine. Just focus on being slow and steady approach as it helps the adult bodies to adopt technic scientifically. Happy dancing!!!
