Usually, it depends on person to person and how much time you invest in everyday practice. Everyday practice of 4-5 hours is sufficient to clear the basics in 1-2 months, whereas it takes more time to be perfect in classical dance forms.

One can be perfect in basics & techniques of respective dance form not in choreography exploration, because of its never-ending learning process by making mistakes.Any dance form you will have to spend effective 3-5 years of training where you focus on basics & techniques.
