But Linux is also an excellent sharp point in favour of Linux is that it is free, and most associated software will also be open. Windows is expensive, but you will find it is bundled with most laptops. The situation is quite different as far as servers are concerned. Linux dominates the server market, primarily because it is more robust, free, and has more protection from virus and hacking attacks. If you want a cheaper hosting plan for your blog or website, go for Linux. read less
