x=(x1+x2)/2 and y=(y1+y2)/2

If,A(2,-5) and B(-4,9) And P(x,y) is the mid point of segment AB, Then
x=(x1+x2)/2
Here x1=2,y1=-5 and x2=-4,y2=9
∴x=(2-4)/2=-2/2=1
y=(y1+Y2)/2
∴y=(-5+9)/2=4/2=2
co ordinates of Mid point P(x,y) are P(1,2)
