I wanted to know, if BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine & Surgery) is a good scope after Class XII Science. Would like to know in detail.

Hi, Mariam! I out of UrbanPro for a long time due to busy schedule. Today I have seen your post then I think I can give you a fair reply. You haven't mention what are main subjects in 10+2 science stream; math or biology. I will guess it is biology then only you are thinking for medical stream. In medical stream there so many distinctions you have to choose what kind of medical stream do you want. There have courses in alopathic as MBBS, in homeopathy as BHMS, aryurveda as BAMS meanwhile courses in siddha and Unani also. after choosing stream then you have to decide which type of medical school do you want and how to go there. there are so many private colleges where tuition fees are quite higher meanwhile govt are cheaper than private. As compared to state Govt medical colleges Central govt medical colleges are better in all the perspectives. You have to google to your area private and govt colleges. Recently notification have given for Pre medical test by CBSE to fill all the central govt medical colleges and 10% of state govt medical colleges except J&K and A.P. because these two states are not giving any seats to CBSE so, if students have to appear form these two states they have to write an affidavit that they will not choose medical colleges from their respective medical colleges. let us think of alternative, sometimes we are not able to achieve the required field then what to do? life is not going to end here because God will first open one door while closing another. Well, biology stream persons can choose for paramedics, nursing and lab technicians which are in high demand in India as well as in abroad. If you plan to do B.Sc and want to prepare meanwhile without giving a gap year. It's better choose the course you likes most not go for others. there is psychoanalytical test form that you can know your concerned area. you can choose b.sc in botany, zoology, chemistry, physics, geology,.etc. But, after doing b,sc you have to do m.sc and phd as i am doing phd. but, if u want can have a lecturer job after completion of Master of science(m.sc) by giving csir ugc net exam. But if you don't like academics and want to for a professional field then better choose B.tech in bioengineering or b.tech in biotechnology. after that you can do mba in health-care management if you want to go for management field.
