B.Tech in Mechanical Engg from NIT Surat, Training officer Govt of NCT of Delhi

IISC, Old IITs and Old NITs. As I completed my Engineering from one of the NITs so it is easier for me to get the placements through campus. It is like almost 100% placement in those above institutes.

The college ranking is not everything. The ranking are given according to there overall performance. But department wise it may be the case that the college is not so high ranking but a particular department there is very well established. So know the college ranking depafrtmentwise. Anyway in general, IISC Bangalore, IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur are the best among the old IITs which are very well eqipped and established. Apart from that IIT Hyderabad, IIT Guwahati are also good.

Some old NITs are much better than some of the new IITs.

And also, VIT, BITS are very nice college overall.

What is the department you are thinking about to get admission?
