What is Sensex?
The Sensex is like a report card of the Indian stock market.
It tells us whether the stock market is doing well (rising) or not (falling).
It is made up of 30 big companies in India.
These companies are from different industries (like banking, IT, energy, pharma, etc.).
Example: Reliance, TCS, Infosys, HDFC Bank, etc.
Think of these 30 companies as the class toppers. If they do well, the Sensex score goes up.
Sensex uses the value of shares of these 30 companies.
Bigger companies (with higher value) have more effect on Sensex.
So, if a large company like Reliance or TCS goes up, the Sensex also goes up a lot.
It shows the overall health of the Indian economy.
Investors in India and abroad look at the Sensex before deciding to invest.
Rising Sensex = confidence in India’s economy.
Falling Sensex = less confidence.
Imagine your school has 1,000 students, but to know the school’s performance quickly, the principal looks at the top 30 students’ marks.
If most of them score well, it means the school is doing great.
If they score poorly, the school’s performance looks weak.
The Sensex works in the same way for the Indian stock market.

Yoga is a mind-body practice focused on holistic well-being and breath, while exercise targets physical fitness and performance. Yoga is restorative and low-impact; exercise is often intense and goal-oriented. They are an excellent complement, as yoga enhances flexibility and recovery, while exercise builds strength and endurance.

Yes, they can complement each other beautifully. Exercise builds stamina, strength, and cardiovascular fitness, while Yoga enhances flexibility, balance, recovery, and mental calmness. Many athletes, corporate professionals, and fitness enthusiasts today combine both for maximum benefit.

I often face difficulty in understanding the concepts clearly, and because of that I take more time to solve accountancy questions. Sometimes I also feel nervous during exams. If you could share the roadmap you used, it would be really helpful. Thank you!”
