My English nurtured from early education, stabilized on my higher studies in UK. I made friends, accomplished my goals and, then on transferred to USA later working in a company, in Chicago. Totally 3 years in UK, 11 years in USA, in all, excluding project engagements to deliver value to customers globally, in IT Industry. While in UK, I was proved that English learnt in India is insufficient, when you interface local accent. It’s vital to understand nuances endemic to locations than a blanket certification you have accomplished. People often neglect this aspect of seamless transition. I may have inputs for TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, CAT, GMAT, PTE, few others. It is the overall approach one has with English that matters. This includes diction, reading comprehension, voice modulation, listening comprehension, vocabulary, intonation, jargons, slangs, local taboos, literary faux pas’, etc., that one should look out for when you are starting your English journey. For me, foundation gave strength, ensured my confidence to be robust. Finding a coach is first step of this journey. Although Tendulkar excelled his coach. Coach certainly discerned refinements for the student to inculcate and, be a world beater. Remember!!! All world beaters have coaches and, this reality makes for a strong, humble world. Good luck ?
