Overview

I have 8 years experience in playing guitar.I conduct guitar classes for all age groups. I play various genres like blues, metal, rock and funk .I have given many live performances with many bands and have bagged many prizes.
This course is meant for beginners and intermediate players. I teach both acoustic and electric guitar. For beginners, you must start with acoustic only.
My classes would be online or group or one-on-one as per the students ' requirement. Classes are organized to strengthen the basics on your instrument so that you could explore the music of your type. The course is inclined more towards the western music. This course will help you develop your ear so that you could pick songs on your own by just hearing it a few times. I will also teach your favorite songs if it's within your reach. This course will give the foundation that you need to bring out the rock star in you.

Teaching Experience in detail in Guitar Classes

I started playing guitar in my 11th standard. I was so mesmerized my sound of the guitar that I instantly fell in love with it. My style is heavily inspired by blues, funk, rock and metal. I draw inspirations from Jimmy Hendrix, Albert king, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Megadeth, Lamb of god, Metallica, Joe Pass, etc. I use different teaching styles for various age groups(Below 8, 8-16, 16 and above). In my 4 years of teaching experience, I found that students who are below 8 years of age take a longer time to learn when compared to other age groups. This is due to the fact that their motor skills are still not well developed. it is strongly advisable to join as early as possible (especially below 8) as their learning capabilities are much faster and it helps them improve their concentration and memory power from a small age itself. Teenage students have been the quickest learners and become proficient at the instrument. Adults are usually drawn towards learning film songs. A student who wants to be metal riffer would be taught different from a student who wants to play blues solo. I customize the class based on their interest, purpose for learning and innate talent. Common foundation skill training for the blues course, metal course, funk course, heavy metal course, bollywood course are:- 1)Warm-ups 2)Chords 3)Basic songs 4)Relative major and minor theory 5)Ear training 6)Modal training and comping techniques 7)Chord substitution and inversion theory

There are various other techniques at play in electric guitar mainly muting and riffing. Riffing and soloing concepts are different. For a distorted guitar, plectrum is must. I would like to know which grade you are in so that i can be more specific in my answer.
