I teach Hindustani vocal music with a strong focus on both classical tradition and structured learning. With 10 years of teaching and training experience, I have been guiding students across different age groups in developing their vocal skills, musical understanding, and confidence in performance. My approach is rooted in discipline, consistency, and a deep respect for the richness of Hindustani classical music.

I hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree along with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in my subject area. My academic training has strengthened both my theoretical understanding and research perspective in music, allowing me to bring depth and structure into my teaching practice.

I am a disciple of Padmavibhushan Vidushi Girija Devi Ji, and I am currently continuing my advanced training under Pt. Diwakar and Pt. Prabhakar Kashyap of the Banaras Gharana. This continuous learning journey has played a significant role in shaping my musical style, teaching methods, and performance standards.

Alongside my training, I work as an Assistant Professor, which allows me to combine academic teaching with practical training in music. I am also an active performer in Hindustani classical vocal music and regularly participate in concerts and musical programs, which helps me stay closely connected to the performing aspect of the art form.

I have contributed to the field through multiple research papers in Hindustani classical music, reflecting my ongoing academic engagement and scholarly contribution. My work as an educator, performer, and researcher collectively supports my overall growth and teaching effectiveness in the field of music.

My teaching methodology is structured and student-friendly, with a clear balance of theory and practical training. I focus on voice development, riyaz techniques, and a deep understanding of classical music fundamentals. My classes are interactive and designed to help students progress step by step according to their individual learning pace.

I conduct both online and offline classes, ensuring flexibility for students. My goal as a teacher is to preserve the authenticity of Hindustani classical music while helping students build strong technical skills, confidence, and a lifelong connection with music through dedicated practice and guidance.
