It depends on your subject. I am using it for teaching communication and it's working properly so you can select it for teaching kids Skype is better option. One more thing in this app there's a help button just click it, it will tell all story about itself.

It is only due to LOCAL SERVER incapability I think but not any thing like GOOGLE server hanging or may be due to some Technical problems can wire was cut out during Municipality connections usually happens or may some other reason.
