Firstly, do a lot of listening. Listen to the English news channels on TV like BBC etc and try to read what is written on the display. Observe the spellings and try to spell it. Read books and see for the spellings of words. Next thing is to try to frame and write down small sentences. check for spelling errors in them. Take English coaching in case you feel you are not able to do it alone.

Spoken English is most crucial if you plan to make a career for yourself. It can be mastered through practice only. You have to study with a tutor who will listen to you, correct your mistake, suggest new words and make the session interesting. My suggestion is an online tuition where one teacher teaches one student.

1. Arouse writing interest in him: to do this you can use e-tracing or you can try out writing on sand, water or air.
2. Find out why he hates writing: This you can do by spending few time with him; what part of writing he does not like? Try using colors/paint brush/crayons to keep him interested in writing.
