Verb is a word that describes an action, state or occurrence, and forming the main part of the predicate of a sentence, such as walk, talk ,eat, sleep etc.

A verb, from the Latin verbum meaning word, is a word that in syntax conveys an action , an occurrence or a state of being. In the usual description of English, the basic form, with or without the particle to, is the infinitive. In many languages, verbs are inflected to encode tense, aspect, mood, and voice. A verb may also agree with the person, gender, and/or number of some of its arguments, such as its subject, or object. Verbs have tenses: present, to indicate that an action is being carried out; past, to indicate that an action has been done; future, to indicate that an action will be done.

Dear Nandini, for better writing you must read stories and newspapers as much as possible. Variation of words and collocation of words are also necessary for better writing. You may write down your every day works in a lengthy paragraph and find the relevant mistakes that you would make in the written sentences. Generally mistakes are done in the usage of Prepositions, Adverbs and clauses, you may find these in a good grammar book.

Take up formal coaching. To speak English fluently, you should do a lot of listening. Listen to English news channels on TV like BBC news, CNN IBM etc and try to read what is written on the display along with listening. There are so many videos available in the internet. Download these videos and replay and try to listen carefully what they are trying to say. Observe the spellings and try to spell it. Read books and see for the spellings of words. Next thing is to try to frame and write down small sentences. check for spelling errors in them. Take English coaching in case you feel you are not able to do it alone.

Dear Satyam, English is not as difficult as you may feel. Although it seems difficult to communicate in English when we are in public. However, you may talk to yourself every day at your own comfortable time. Trainers in English Language often ask to record the speeches, you may also do it for your own practice. You may hire a trainer online in that respect. A good sense of knowledge in English grammar and vocabulary is also expected from a speaker.

Fluency in any language will come through practice. You need to join a language learning institute which will not just teach you correct sentence formation but also give you speaking practice. A one teacher one student is the best way to learn. Because if you are not participating student you may not speak at all in the classes or even if you speak the teacher may not give individual attention to each student. Go for an online course where you have a dedicated teacher all for yourself. Who will give you 100% attention.
