Where,
P = liquid's hydrostatic pressure (in N/m2, Pa)
ρ = liquid's density (kg/m3)
Note : in case of water ρ =1000 kg/m3
g = gravitational acceleration (9.81 m/s2)
h = height of the fluid's column or depth where the pressure is measured.
Thus,
P = 1000×9.81× (8/2) = 39240 (in N/m2, Pa) or P = 39.24 KPa, KN/m2
Note : 1N/m2 = Pa
