Swar is nothing but a musical note. There are seven Standard Notes in Indian Classical Music as given below. We call these notes as "Shuddha Swar". Shuddha Swar: Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni. They are also called Shadja, Rishabh, Gandhar, Madhyam, Pancham, Dhaivat and Nishad respectively.

Swar is the seven notes in music Like some of us know it as (Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni) and then Sa again being an Octave above, which is the same note as the first.In western music that could be like (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti) - (C, D, E, F, G, A, B) as an example.
