You can choose Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Computer science as your main subjects to become Software engineer.

Take non-medical stream & then choose Computer science/Information technology after your 12th. You can do BCA + MCA to become a software engineer too. But I suggest go the simple way & take non-medical (Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics) after 10th. Good luck.
