You learn when you are comfortable.

Instrumental music is... When instruments are used to produce sound/music. Whereas in vocal music, there is no use of instruments, but only voice.

Vocal Music means you are singing. Instrumental music means the music is played by any instrument such as sitar, guitar, violin, tabla, flute etc.
