I want to know about grade exams of Carnatic Music if they are conducted by respective State govts, universities or music institutions? If so, which would be the best grade exam for Carnatic music?

They are there in all the states. - If you are looking for Teacher Certification, The Music Academy Chennai has two courses, Basic for three years and Advanced for two more years. - If you are looking for more vocal development, there are more private institutions and research centres that conduct such courses. - Another prominent and intense learning Institute is Kalakshetra in Chennai.
