A purely commercial operation—highly misleading online reviews. As a parent whose daughter attended Madhu Natyalaya for 12 months, I am writing this to provide an honest, objective perspective for prospective families. Upon initial enrollment, the tutor, Madhu, explicitly requested that we post a positive Google review. Having complied early on, I now deeply regret that initial 5-star rating, as it does not reflect the actual quality of the academy. The positive ratings and social media promotions on Instagram and WhatsApp are highly misleading. The academy frequently uses old footage of former students alongside promotional discounts to attract new admissions. In reality, the focus is entirely on commercial gain and self-promotion rather than the students' artistic development. While the tutor aggressively approaches parents regarding Salangai Pooja fees and collections, she provides zero performance opportunities. Students are never entered into external competitions or given platforms to perform at temples or school halls. Due to this commercialized environment and the lack of genuine student growth, a significant number of students leave within their first year to seek training elsewhere. Blindly relying on online reviews can result in a severe waste of time, money, and a child's passion for Bharatanatyam. I strongly advise parents to look past social media comments, connect directly with former students, and seek out established, dedicated instructors who prioritize the true value of the art form over business promotions
