my strategy for UPSC prelims next year would be to first go through the ncerts,then laxmikant for polity,bipin chandra for modern history,sri ram ias notes for economy,shankar ias for enviroment ,all of this and daily habit of reading newspapers and making notes of them while sticking to the syllabus...

my strategy for UPSC prelims next year would be to first go through the ncerts,then laxmikant for polity,bipin chandra for modern history,sri ram ias notes for economy,shankar ias for enviroment ,all of this and daily habit of reading newspapers and making notes of them while sticking to the syllabus is really mandatory.and the most important thing is to appear for mocks and work on your problem solving ability, you can refer to vision ias for gs test series,they are the leaders in this. read less

It depends on the schedule you are comfortable with. On an average 8 hours daily for 6 months can help you befriend with the subjects concerned. A good mentor is also required throughout.
