Economics in UPSC is more focused on the current issues but u need to have ur basic facts clear. And for That, NCERT Class 11th and selective reading of NCERT Class 11th is must. Read them fully atleast once before making notes. And for Reference, Go For Indian Economy By Ramesh Singh
