Economics in UPSC is more focused on the current issues but u need to have ur basic facts clear. And for That, NCERT Class 11th and selective reading of NCERT Class 11th is must. Read them fully atleast once before making notes. And for Reference, Go For Indian Economy By Ramesh Singh

My son is studying in 10 th Std now, ready to take exams in March 2015. He is interested to join the armed forces and as such has to take NDA exams .
