Best way is to make the class more interesting and innovative to grab students' attention and asking for their opinion/answer or something time by time.

Eye contact is very essential .It can be enhanced only by calling the child's name very often,while taking the class and using as much visual aids as possible so that the child keep looking at the screen more often .
