If you don't know anyone in the industry, who in your network does?In the meantime, what can you do on the side to make yourself more better to an employer that demonstrates that you're passionate about the industry? Start a blog? Create a project? Take initiative in a way that you're comfortable with and that interests you.Don't get overwhelmed. Take little steps each day. It will add up and give you momentum.
