How do I prepare for GRE and TOEFL during my B Tech? Which year should I start? Will a gap after UG affect my chances?

I would suggest you to start preparing for both at the start of 7th semester. It is certainly easy and acheivable if you plan it right. For GRE one may need beetween 30 and 90 days ideally, and for TOEFL you may require at least 30 hours of self practice.
