In case of text coding, they take time in writing code...but overall I can say their curiosity level has increased many fold and their way of applying logic has improved..

Yes, you can learn vedic mathematics on your own. There are free downloadable pdf, youtube video available that can help you in the learning process. The most important thing is practice. Even if you take classes you have to practice on your own. So, my experience says you can learn Vedic maths on our own. I too learnt and practiced myself for final year project while pursuing my master's degree. All the very best.

For free learning, you can download pdf as well. There are youtube video for practice as well. The more you practice, the better you get in your learning process. All the best.
