Dear Ashwin,
Short Answer: class 6-10<30, class 11-12<30 + all important and mostly used elements
Long Answer:
you do not require to learn the whole preiodic table if you are not preparing for any Competetive exam like JEE or NEEt. so according to me the best approach will be to learn 30 elements first and then learn the required or mostly used elements as per your syllabus, you can use different tricks to memorise them quickly, also if you want you can use these tricks to learn all the elements in an effecient way.
