Section 6.1 – This section starts with activities telling you about changes that can be reversed or not be reversed. For example, inflating a balloon, making a paper plane, making shapes out of dough, etc. Performing these activities will help you understand which changes could be brought back and which were permanent in nature. A table mentioning changes is given, wherein you are asked which changes are reversible and which are not, for instance, if we boil a raw egg, we cannot bring it back to its raw state, if we make idlis from a batter, those idlis cannot be made into batter again, and so on.
Section 6.2 – This section deal with some other ways to bring changes around us. These methods could be heating and melting substances, or expansion and contraction. Using activities and figures (diagrams), you can learn and know about each of these methods in detail.
