It would help if you learned according to your syllabus. Class 9-10 <30, Class 11-12 - as per syllabus.

It would help if you learned the whole periodic table. If you find it challenging to know the entire table, watch some youtube videos on tricks to learn it. There are plenty of shortcuts available. You'll also find the shortcuts interesting, which will help you remember the table for a long time.

There is no need to count. As you go through a particular application, you will automatically remember all valuable elements. For example, if you are studying nuclear reactions, you will have to go to Uranium, which has higher locations.

No need to learn the whole periodic table. Just remember the s and p block and the first two rows of the d block.

Rather than attempting to memorise all of the elements at once, learn one group at a time, master that group, and then learn...

You need not learn all the elements. Remember the first 30 elements per atomic number as they are always asked in questions and an atomic number of inert gases.

It is enough to learn till Zinc(Z=30), but at the same time, I would suggest you have the atomic number of alkali metals and halogens to be memorised as well if you are planning to give JEE/NEET as they are pretty useful for a few problems.
