My son studies in class 2. Because his handwriting is so poor, he is unable to copy from the school black board. He also writes very slowly. Please assist how I can improve his handwriting.

Dear Parents Be happy and proud of your little champ's acheivement. Only say him to write and to do practice of Capital and small case letters. Slowly within a month, your champ will be able to copy the letters fast.

I would suggest him to daily write English alphabets, then make him write words and then sentence slowly. So his handwriting also improves and he can write fast also. He writes slowly seeing blackboard because he cannot grasp the words quickly so make him read poem or rhymes daily.

Just relax, put him in a drawing and painting course for 2 months - he will be ok and have better handwriting. Cheers!

Ask him to write a poem or a small story, You can ask him to write about his favorite cartoon character, game etc.

Keep a smart black board at home.Give small sentences to write keep a clock before him ask him to complete in the given time.Appreciate him when he could follow the time.

Dear parent There are a week program on handwriting improvement and also at advance level speed writing. Kindly find out an institute which offers the course and enroll him. It’s a technique based program. Best of luck

Dear parent, you have to take of this on your own, since the child is in a small class. You can give some easy matter and ask him to copy in a notebook.this will improve his handwriting. Later you can ask him to write faster by motivating him and writing against the clock.
