Tabla has been started in the music world.. That is not any fixed date... But it is started in approximately near about in around 1600 .... The 1st tabla vadak in SIDDHAR KHAN, (founder of Delhi gharana)... If u want to know details something more.. Then contact me .

My son is 2 year old and he is very interested in playing Tabla. He sits through concerts keenly. Also he follows videos and try to play something similar. Is there any teacher who take classes for such young kids?
Its great that he is a good listener at this age...I would recommend, he should continue doing so for another 4 yrs..And then start formal learning..
