Learning English, written or written, can be a daunting task for a newcomer. This is because English has no consistent set of grammatical rules unlike the Indian Sanskrit based languages and other languages like German, Spanish, etc. To a Hindi or some other native speaker, English words can get sometimes confusing as they can mean diffeent things in different contexts. For example, "flour" (atta) can sound the same as "flower". The only way you can get a hang of spoken English is through practice and watching lots and lots of English movies, preferrably with the subtitles off. Videos and other tutorials online should help you. All the best! read less

There are no standard rules, much less short-cuts, to learn the Art of Spelling in English. It is only by diligent study and patient practice that one can master the Art of Spelling. It is not impossible.
