Hi Divya, Nice question! English is a "Lingua Franca" means it the window to the outside world. Then English is our official language in our country. Since the globalisation takes place English plays a prominent role in our country. Further, the emergence of MNC's offering humpty number of job opportunities who speak and write English fluently. People have to speak English with their clients to develop the company since the clients may be from various parts of the world.
