Due to the mass media and technology assisted education corners of the world have come together. In this environment the concept of spread of English language won't be eccentric as it has arbitrary nucleus of growth. Today such questions seem to be irrelevant. However on the other hand speaker of second language have grown in good ratio and proportion thus catering the needs of day-to-day language usages. Learning English doesn't mean forsaking your regional culture or language, it simply means finding a common tongue to communicate with people from different parts of the world. The word 'Anglicization' sounds political and should be avoided. Instead, the benefits of learning a universal language should be enjoyed. read less
