You may want to explore opening a franchise. This will help with training and curriculum. 'Sona Yukti' - I am a consultant with this organization and then are keen on expanding all over India. They already have training centers in Salem, Bangalore and Ranchi.

Ishnath Jee! Starting a coaching centre or business isn't an tought job but how much you've prepared yourself to face and cross the hurdles after opening is a really great job. Starting English speaking course with phonetics is a very good thinking but what kind of phonetics you use in teaching is also another matter that may attract or distract the students. In my six-year long teaching experience in India, I could not use the proper use of phonetics because many university lecturers and professors don't practically know the usage, importance and teaching of phonetics. They don't know the actual meaning of stress in linguistics. How the sound of a particular symbol of the letter changes when it is stressed, they don't know practically. Many people have told me that this kind of sounds and symbols are useful only for those who work in BPOs or call centres. I can't understand why people think speaking like an American or British is not necessary. English isn't our language then how can we change it or use according to our ease? What I think in your case is you need to make the students understand how and why English speaking phonetically is important. Then, you'll get more students and move towards progress other wise the students will think that it; a waste of time and money. Some other things are how you motivate the students in learning, where the students go away for learning from your village, possible number of students who may be interested for the course, etc. also very important before starting. read less
